This documentary is a must watch. All of the conspiracy theories that I have heard about the Government, Car companies and Oil companies keeping us in this oil addictive cycle become tangible with this film.
In Los Angeles, we once had a much better public transit system, however in the 50's it was bought by vehicle manufactures so that they could let it go under. Now, there are highways that criss cross over where the public train tracks used to be.
Haha! Yes! I watched this just a month or two ago, and I liked it, as well. It's amazing to me how the success of a product is hinged ENTIRELY on its marketing! It does takes coal to send electricity to your house... I was also grew a little suspicious when they listed Ralph Nader as an expert commentator... Either way, it was a great and eye-opening film!
Married to my beautiful and amazing wife Rachel. Living in Austin, TX learning a lot about how to live a full life in community with others. Trying to figure out what it looks like to follow Jesus in the context that I am in.
